
Test "Leben in Deutschland"
By successfully taking the ‘Living in Germany’ test, you can prove your knowledge of the legal and social structure and living situation in Germany. The ‘Living in Germany’ test consists of 33 questions. You have 60 minutes to answer the questions. For each question, you must choose the correct answer from four possible answers.
To provide proof of knowledge in accordance with § 10 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Number 7 of the Citizenship Act, 17 out of 33 questions must be answered correctly. If you fail, you can repeat the test. inlingua Berlin is authorized by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) to administer the ‘Living in Germany’ test.
As part of the integration course, the ‘Living in Germany’ test takes place at the end of the orientation course. If you are not attending the orientation course with us and only wish to take the test, you can book an examination date for the “Living in Germany” test here as an external participant.
Even if you live in another federal state, you can take the “Living in Germany” test with us. You will automatically receive the test with the questions for your federal state.
The “Living in Germany” test can also be used for applying for citizenship (like the "Einbürgerungstest")
