German language training for professional purposes (DeuFöV)
Do you need German for your professional life? Whether you need to speak in meetings, write emails, or give presentations, our needs-based professional language courses (BSK) in Berlin, which focus on “German for work,” will help you communicate clearly and convincingly.
Here you will acquire the necessary skills to act confidently in your everyday work. In addition to practical exercises, we place particular emphasis on developing your intercultural competence.

Funding for your professional language course through DeuFöv
Our vocational language courses are funded by DeuFöV, which gives you the opportunity to work specifically on your job-related language skills without any financial hurdles. We work closely with the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF), so your German course is free of charge and you can benefit from government subsidies.
The abbreviation DeuFöV stands for “Verordnung über die berufsbezogene Deutschsprachförderung” (Regulation on Work-Related German Language Training). This regulation forms the legal basis for vocational language courses in Germany.
The following requirements must be met in order to take advantage of job-related German language support:
- Migration background with a need for further language training
- Completed integration course and/or German language skills at B1 level.
- Registered as a job seeker or receiving benefits under SGB II/III.
- Looking for a training position or already in training
- Recognition procedure for vocational or training qualifications.
